Wuthering Heights is a novel by Emily Brontë published in 1847 under her pseudonym "Ellis Bell". Brontë's only finished novel opens with Lockwood visiting the home of his landlord. An accident occurs alongside a supernatural event which pique Lockwood's curiosity.
