Bibbit Privacy Policy



Get off my lawn! Privacy is as important as it is scarce nowadays. We won’t share that information with third parties to make some moola. Like most websites, using Bibbit and creating a profile mean you agree to share some information with us. Our Terms of Service apply to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree to our policy and use of your information, to be described below, don’t use our site.


Collected Information


When creating an account, you might give us your username, email, birthday, and gender. We use that information to build your profile and to make sure that you are at least 13 years old. We’ll also send emails to you unless you opt out on the Settings page. That said, system emails like password recovery links will continue to be sent. With this info, we create anonymous statistics to improve Bibbit. We also tailor your Bibbit experience to reflect your preferences. We protect any data we store using commercially acceptable standards. Our website links to external sites that we don’t operate. We have no control over their content and don’t accept any responsibility or liability for their privacy policies.


Requesting Your Information


If you want to access or request that we correct or delete any information we have about you, send us an email at privacy@bibbit.com. We’ll comply as required by law or our policies under the limitations of our system. To modify or delete any information you provided us, log in and update your profile.


Leaving Bibbit


If you deactivate your account, we’ll store your information for six months. All of your comments and activity becomes anonymized unless you delete that activity before leaving. If, during the six months, you reactivate your account, all of your contributions will be reattributed to you. Using our website is an acceptance of our privacy and information policy.


Non-personal Information


We may use cookies and similar technology to collect anonymous information that allow us to better understand our users to improve our site and to track problems with our service. We don’t combine this non-personal information with your given, personal information. We may share this non-personal information with third parties like advertisers.




We might update our Privacy Policy. We won’t reduce your rights without your consent, signified by your continued use of our site. Your use of our site means you agree with any revised Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree with the new policy, close your account and stop using our platform.
