Bibbit Terms of Service
Preface
Welcome to Bibbit! You’ve taken the first steps in joining the fastest growing community of booklovers. In fact, you love reading so much that you’re actually reading our Terms of Service.
Authors, you retain ownership and copyright of your story and may remove your work from the site at any time. Your story is yours!
I. ACCEPTING OUR TERMS
A. Bibbit LLC operates Bibbit.com. The terms “we”, “us”, “Bibbit”, “Bibbit.com”, and “the best website on the internet” refer to Bibbit. As our beloved guest, the user, you have access to our site. Accessing the domain name Bibbit.com or any country-specific domains (like Bibbit.fr for France, Bibbit.dj for Djibouti, or Bibbit.wk for Wakanda) signifies your agreement to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Community and Content Guidelines.
B. We’ll try to let you know when we change big stuff in our Terms of Service, like adding sweet puns, but we also reserve the right to not inform you. You’ll be bound to any modifications even if you don’t see the changes. Nothing in this document gives third-party rights.
II. MISSION
Bibbit empowers writers and offers readers great content, building a haven for booklovers to come together to exchange stories, art, and expand the bounds of writing. We don’t make any money operating the site. Like you, we love reading and believe in our mission that much. Just visiting our site motivates our team to keep improving Bibbit so thank you for joining us. If you enjoy a writer’s work and want to support them, toss them a couple bucks via Patreon, tell your friends, or let the writer know how much their work means to you. Your support breathes life into your favorite writers and their stories.
III. WEBSITE
A. Our terms apply to all users, from comment and story contributors to readers and artists, of Bibbit.com.
B. The website has links to third party websites that we don’t own. We don’t control these third parties so in using our site, you relieve us of all liability from your use of third party sites.
IV. ACCOUNTS
A. To do the best stuff on our site like publishing, commenting, and personalizing your experience, you’ll need to create a Bibbit account. You’re completely responsible for your account. Don’t use someone else’s account, keep your password safe, and let us know if your account has been breached.
B. We won’t be liable for any losses from unauthorized use of your account, but you might be liable for losses of Bibbit or others.
C. No accounts for anyone under 13 years old and no accounts for convicted sex offenders.
D. If you use multiple accounts, we’ll terminate them.
E. We can terminate any account without notice. If you infringe someone else’s copyright, if we decide your content is overly inappropriate (pornography, hate crimes, defamatory material, et cetera), or if you violate our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or Community Guidelines, your account is gone.
